About Irene Burns:
Irene served eighteen years as a police officer, reaching the rank of Inspector. When she left, her passion for sewing and crafts in general lead her to opening her first craft shop. This soon multiplied to two shops. As a shop owner, she taught sewing classes locally for about twenty years, some times adult education in the community, sometimes children after school and other times, adult with special needs in a local college.
She has been working on cruise ships for four years and has a varied collection of crafts that she teaches on the ships. Most can be completed with an hour, some, the sewing crafts, taking longer but can be finished whilst in the library or sunbathing on the decks.
