ARTS & CRAFTS TUTORS REQUIRED!
The Arts and Crafts Association was formed in 2014 to tutor on Cruise ships resulting in Arts and Crafts associates tutoring on cruises to South America, South Africa, Europe and The Northern Lights during 2014/5.
Tutoring only occurs on sea days.
Additional Arts & Craft teachers are required. What is essential is the ability to communicate in a light-hearted, interesting, entertaining and informative manner to groups generally from 25 to 30. Mentoring is given and associates are invited to bi-annual meetings in Southport and Southampton.
Perks vary, but include full Passenger Status and, dependent on cruise company, Free Port Parking, Priority boarding, outside cabin, Complementary excursions, Gratis or generous discounts on drinks and ship purchases. Discretionary tipping. When joining a ship internationally, Flights are paid. Some companies pay UK travel expenses when joining a ship. The retail value of a cruise for two guests can vary from £1,000 to £6,000.
There is an association membership fee, refundable if no cruise is taken within 18 months. For some cruise companies there are no charges, for others a daily charge of £40 covering tutor and guest.
As well as being featured on the Association Web Site, Associates are featured in the Arts & Crafts Directory, sent out to all major cruise companies.
